Revital Cohen en Tuur van Balen's project 75 Watt is a product made in China whose only function is to choreograph its own assembly. Cohen and van Balen documented the assembly of 40 of their objects in a factory in Zhongshan, China.
The industrialisation of society is often equated with progress, but while new industrial products may bring conveniences to their users, they also imply physical consequences for the factory workers who manufacture them.
